Tom Hanks admits he has Type 2 Diabetes

Tom HanksTom Hanks [Actor] famous for playing roles in films of Forest Gump, The Da Vinci Code, Toy Story and Big told David Letterman on 7th October, 2013 that he has been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes after his doctor told him he graduated from those high blood sugars since the age of 36..

Tom Hanks was told by his doctor if he could weigh what he weighed in high school then he could essentially be healthy and be rid of Type 2 Diabetes. He said “In that case, I’m going to have Type 2 Diabetes, as there’s no way I’m going to weigh what I weighed in High School”. He continued to tell David Letterman “I weighed 96 pounds in High School”.
